1:50 model of  Neuadd Criccieth for architect Adam Voelcker to show the extension - curved roof left,- and internal modifications. Click on photo to see exploded view.
Model of typical Welsh farmbuildings. This was commissioned for use in the S4C drama series “Pengelli”. One of the characters was a model maker.
I have always loved the model making side of design and on a few occasions I have been asked to produce architectural models and models for various other uses. It is a side I would like to develop.
The model of Neuadd Criccieth was a particular challenge. Adam Voelcker, the architect, was extending the backstage facilities and improving the very modest stage of the delightful memorial hall and I was asked to produce a model to show to the clients to explain the proposals. It was also used as a public display to aid the fund raising.
